Fort Myer Fire and Emergency Services is responsible for providing fire suppression and prevention on Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall (JBM-HH) in Arlington, Virginia. This includes Fort Myer-Henderson Hall, Arlington National Cemetery, Fort McNair, and the Pentagon helipad. The joint base was formed as the result of BRAC 2005. It is commanded by the United States Army but has resident commands of Army, Navy, & Marines. It is home to the:
- 3rd US Infantry Regiment.
- United States Army Band.
The 3rd US Infantry Regiment ("The Old Guard") performs all ceremonial duties at Arlington National Cemetary and the Tomb of the Unknowns and has been the official ceremonial unit of the United States Army since 1948.
