History[]
The Inwood Fire Department, also known as Brooke Fire Area 1, provided fire protection to the Township of Brooke and portions of the Township of Euphemia. In 2001, Brooke was amalgamated with the Village of Alvinston to create the Township of Brooke-Alvinston. The Inwood and Alvinston fire departments operated separately until 2017, upon the creation of the merged Brooke Fire Rescue.
