History[]
The fire district was formed in 2007. Hurricane Valley Fire District was formed on December 18th, 2007 when the LaVerkin City Fire Department, Leeds Area District, Virgin Volunteer Fire Department and Toquerville Fire Department came together. On July 1, 2010 the Hurricane Volunteer Fire Department joined the district, then in 2019 the Rockville/Springdale Fire District joined the district.
