The Highlands Fire District protects an area south of Flagstaff.
History[]
Highlands Fire District was established in 1999 when the Kachina Village Fire District and the Mountainaire Fire District merged. In 2005, Pine Del Fire District merged into the district. In 2012, the district began service in Flagstaff Ranch under an Intergovernmental Agreement. Tuthill was added to the Agreement in 2018.
