About[]

The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) / San Bernardino Unit (BDU) through contractual agreement with the City of Highland, provides fire protection and emergency medical services for the City of Highland, as well as for the areas of Crossroads, Curtis, Cypress, East Highland, Harlem Springs, Lankershim, Molino, Oak Creek, San Andreas and Warm Springs, all located within San Bernardino County, in southeastern California. Incorporated as a city on November 24, 1987, Highland encompasses an area covering 18.67 square miles, and serves a population of approximately 56,999 inhabitants.
