On Jan. 1, 2022 an Interlocal agreement between Elkhart Township and the City of Goshen took effect. Goshen took over fire and EMS services from the Elkhart Township Fire Department. [1]
The agreement included the transfer of two fire stations and vehicles to the Goshen Fire Department.
