History[]

Fouts Bros was founded in 1952 by CJ and Jerry Fouts, as a single service station in Smyrna, GA. In 1989, the company opened its fire division with the introduction of the 3000 Gallon Tanker, eventually expanding into a standardized line of fire tankers, pumpers, quick attacks, and brush trucks. In 2024, the fire division was rebranded as Fouts Fire.

Currently under the third generation of family management, Fouts Fire is led by Scott Edens, and is now based in its 700,000 square foot production facility and headquarters in Milledgeville, GA, with a second factory in La Grange, Texas.

Production[]

Fouts Fire builds pumpers, tankers, rescues, and quick attacks on both custom and commercial chassis. They build a limited, standardized line of apparatus, in order to be able to streamline production processes and costs, and to support the business model of keeping stock units of all their models readily available for fast delivery nationwide.
