Fontaine Modification provides post-production truck services for OEM, dealers and fleets. They have built many apparatus, mostly rescue and brush, and are also a step-van type bodybuilder.
Fontaine Mod is a business unit of Fontaine, which is itself a wholly owned subsidiary of Marmon Holdings, Inc. (A Birkshire-Hathaway Company), parent company of Marmon-Harrington aftermarket 4x4 conversions.
The current Fontaine business units are:
- Fontaine Fifth Wheel - Heavy Duty tractor and trailer coupling devices
- Fontaine Modification - Post-production truck services for OEM, dealers and fleets
- Fontaine Specialized - Low-bed, hydraulic tail, and extendable trailers
- Fontaine Spray Suppression - fenders, mud flaps and related products
- Fontaine Trailer - flatbed and drop-deck trailers
