Spokane County Fire District 4 operates as Fire District 4 Fire & Rescue. It has also been known as the Chatteroy Fire Department.

Area Served

Spokane County Fire District 4 serves the city of Deer Park and smaller communities like Chattaroy, Elk, Colbert, Green Bluff, Milan, Hazard, and Denison. The area served by the district is a total of 330 square miles in North Spokane County. The district provides mutual aid to parts of Pend Oreille County, Stevens County and other Spokane County Fire Districts like Fire District 9. It provides emergency response to fire, medical emergency, hazardous material, and other types of incidents. District 4 is a combination volunteer, part time, and full time department that responds from nine stations.
