Fire Cab was a subsidiary of CECO / Taylor Manufacturing in Chambersburg, PA. Taylor Mfg was incorporated in 1982. They apparently ceased truck production in mid-2000. The company went bankrupt in 2002 and was purchased at auction by Ajax Technologies that same year. The company is now AjaxCECO (a ParkOhio Company) which produces forging machinery.
Custom Chassis[]
In addition to building apparatus bodies, Fire Cab also offered a re-badged version of the Spartan Gladiator (and of the Pemfab Marquis) as their own custom chassis.
