History[]
In 1971, municipal restructuring in Muskoka District amalgamated the original Town of Huntsville with the Village of Port Sydney and the Townships of Brunel, Chaffey, Stisted and Stephenson. The Chaffey Township Fire Department and Port Sydney Fire Department became part of an expanded Huntsville FD.
