The Farmington Hills Fire Department is a combination department consisting of approximately 111 firefighters in total, who protect about 84,000 residents in an area of around 33 square miles. The FHFD also provides emergency medical services at the ALS level. Farmington Hills is a rather affluent suburb just northwest of Detroit.
