The F-RLX series is an articulating boom aerial platform made by Bronto Skylift. Like most of Bronto's platforms the booms also telescope making the unit more compact for travel.
Like the F-XR series the F-RLX includes a full length ladder beside the boom allowing it to act as a both an articulating aerial platform and as an aerial ladder. RLX stands for "Rescue Ladder eXtra" versatile. The F-RLX was designed to maximize the reach and up and over capabilities of the platform.
It is provided with integral plumbing and has a 1000 US GPM (3800 L/min) monitor at the platform.
The platform can tip up or down to maintain a level floor, but also has the capability of turning 60 degrees to either side. It has a safe working load of 1100 lbs (500 kg).
The F-RLX comes in eight lengths ranging from 32 meters to 55 meters.
The F-RLXER is an extended horizontal reach variant of the F-RLX that is available with the 42 m and 44 m models. The horizontal reach of the ER models is 96' (29 m).
