History[]
The Exeter and Area Fire Department served the Town of Exeter, plus portions of the surrounding Townships of Hay, Stephen and Usborne. In 2001, Exeter was amalgamated with Stephen and Usborne to form the new municipality of South Huron. The fire department became part of the newly formed South Huron Fire Department.
