History[]

On January 16, 1962, voters approved the annexation of the north half of Snohomish County Fire District No. 6 into the City of Everett with 410 "yes" votes and 259 "no" votes. The annexation was effective on February 27, 1962.[1] On June 5, 1962, voters approved the annexation of the south half of Fire District 6 into the City of Everett with 597 "yes" votes and 435 "no" votes. The annexation was effective on August 1, 1962,[2] resulting in the dissolution of the district.
