
Overview[]
The Englewood Fire Department (EFD) is a career department that employs 55 firefighters. EFD responds with the East Bergen and Mid Bergen Mutual Aid Associations. EFD averages 2000-2500 runs per year, responding from a single station (fire headquarters). They protect a population of approximately 29,000 residents in an area of almost 5 square miles.
