Emergency Equipment Inc., or EEI, was an American fire apparatus builder located in Raleigh, North Carolina. EEI was the successor company to Atlas Steel Products, which was formed in 1959. Atlas was acquired by Amfire in 1982 and renamed. The company built pumpers, tankers, mini-pumpers and rescues on commercial and custom (Spartan and Pemfab) chassis. EEI ceased operations in 1999.
