Grays Harbor County FD No. 5 operates as East Grays Harbor Fire & Rescue.

History[]

On April 27, 2021, voters approved the annexation of the City of Elma into Fire District 5 with a combined 1,385 "yes" votes and 269 "no" votes.[1] On August 24, 2021, the district's name was officially changed to East Grays Harbor Fire & Rescue.[2] The annexation was finalized on January 1, 2022.
