
Overview[]
The Deep Creek VFC serves the unincorporated community of McHenry, a popular tourist destination in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Their response area includes 2 ski resorts, numerous vacation properties & hotels, several golf courses, commercial, residential, and agricultural areas; the Garrett County Fairgrounds & community college, a state park, the major US Route 219 thoroughfare, and the eponymous Deep Creek Lake.
