History[]
Crash Rescue Equipment Service, Inc. was founded in 1967 by Robert Relyea as a service company to maintain Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting vehicles. In 1978, they started refurbishing ARFF vehicles for various departments.
The company is currently listed as "out of business", with no dates given. It was found that the company apparently declared bankruptcy prior to 2018.

Snozzle[]
The company was the manufacturer of the Snozzle appliance. The Snozzle brand was sold to Oshkosh in April 2011.

They also manufactured the RHINO, a high performance bumper turret
TAU ARFF[]
CRES manufactured a wide variety of twin-agent ARFF trucks for airports across the country.
CAV-2400[]
In 2010 CRES delivered 8 rapid response trucks to the US Army. The combined agent vehicles (CAV) were built on a Ford F-550 cab/chassis with a custom polypropylene body. The apparatus was dubbed the CAV-2400 Renegade.
