History[]
The Coupland VFD was formed in 1979. Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 10 was formed in 2005 to support Coupland VFD. In 2017, voters approved the expansion of the ESD to include the area serviced by the Thrall Volunteer Fire Department.
In 2022 the decision was made to merge operations of the two fire departments and form the Williamson County Emergency Services District No. 10 Fire Department.
