Overview[]
The Cooks Community Volunteer Fire Department was established on June 24, 1953 and was the eleventh organized VFD in Mecklenburg County. They serve an area in the northwest section of Mecklenburg County (NC). Much of their original service area has been annexed by the City of Charlotte and is now served by CFD. CFD station 33 is less than one mile up the road.
