History[]
After the original Cook's Ferry fire department was disbanded, fire protection for the community was provided by the Spences Bridge Volunteer Fire Department. The Cook's Ferry Indian Band Fire Department was re-established in 2024 and took over fire protection for the community of Spences Bridge, and the Spences Bridge Volunteer Fire Department was itself disbanded.
