Overview[]
The Community Fire Company is one of six fire companies serving the Town of Thompson, Connecticut, the northeasternmost town in the state. Based in North Grosvenor Dale (pronounced Gruhv-ner), the de facto town center; CFC provides coverage for a former mill community, including the mill that once anchored Thompson's economy. Community's crews also provide ambulance coverage for the entire town of Thompson, doing so with three ambulances.
