Department Profile[]
The Clifton Forge Fire Department is a fire department located in the Town of Clifton Forge in Alleghany County, Virginia. The department was founded in 1886 and operates out of one station. The department provides mutual aid to other parts of Alleghany County, as well as, Bath and Botetourt Counties. Three major roadways--Interstate 64, US Route 60, and US Route 220--travel through the Clifton Forge area. The department is staffed by a combination of career and volunteer firefighters.
