History[]
Around 1983, all station numbers were changed with a '2' preceeding the station as part of a county-wide renumbering. In 1984, North Highlands FPD merged with Citrus Heights FPD. In 1989, Citrus Heights FPD merged with Rancho Cordova Fire Protection District, forming Sacramento County Fire Protection District.
