Future Plans[]

  • Land purchased at Maybank Highway and Wildst Battery Drive for new Station 23. A groundbreaking ceremony was held in early 2025.
  • Two additional stations planned for the Cainhoy Peninsula (Battalion 106). One will replace Station 20 and one will be New Station 22.
  • The City is looking to purchase a 3 acre portion of property located at 2637 Clements Ferry Road to build a replacement for Station 20 (as of February 2025). The Mayor and City Council have stated they are considering condemning the property if they are unable to purchase it, as the need for a new station is extremely high.
