For Central States, see Central States Fire Apparatus.

The Central Fire Truck Corporation was an American fire apparatus manufacturer located in St. Louis and Manchester, Missouri. Central was formed by a group of employees from the General Fire Truck Corporation when that company relocated to Detroit in 1936. Central built pumpers on commercial and custom chassis, as well as some aerial trucks using Memco Aerial Ladder Company aerial devices. Central went out of business in the mid or late 1960s.
