Encompassing 2,403mi² of land and 82,149 residents as of 2020, Lewis County, located in southwestern Washington, is the 17th largest county in Washington by population and 13th largest by land area. Its county seat is the City of Chehalis.

History[]

Lewis County was established on December 19, 1845, being partitioned from Vancouver District (later Clarke County).
