CET Fire Pumps, formerly known as Échelles C.-E. Thibault is a portable pump and apparatus manufacturer based in Pierreville, Québec.
History[]
The company was founded in 1990 by Charles-Étienne Thibault, one of Pierre Thibault's sons. When Charles-Étienne died, his sons Sylvain and Stéphane Thibault operated the company, Sylvain passed away in 2010 and Stéphane Thibault remains the sole owner.
In 2017, CET built a second plant on rue Industrielle also located in Pierreville.
On 28th March 2022, a fire partially destroyed the plant on rue Hector in Pierreville. The office area and a portion of the plant built in the 1990s were protected by the firefighters.
Products[]
Échelles C.-E. Thibault built quint and ladder assemblies and repaired aerial devices. CET has since concentrated on portable pumps, skid units for brush trucks, and foam trailers.
