History[]
The Burrville Volunteer Fire Company was one of three volunteer companies that served the City of Torrington, Connecticut. Burrville's firefighters responded to a rather sparsely populated area in the North End of the City. Following years of operational strife with the City of Torrington, the department was disbanded effective March 31, 2017. The station now sits vacant, and the apparatus have been sold or donated to various other departments across the United States.
