History[]
The Bobcaygeon / Verulam Fire Department protected the Village of Bobcaygeon and surrounding Township of Verulam. In 2001, all of the municipalities of Victoria County were amalgamated to create the new City of Kawartha Lakes and the BVFD became part of the Kawartha Lakes Fire & Rescue Service.
