The Baker Equipment Engineering Company was an American aerial equipment and fire apparatus manufacturer located in Richmond, Virginia. Baker is best known for the Aerialscope, a series of elevating platforms. Baker Aerialscope Division was purchased by Seagrave Fire Apparatus in 1999 and production of the Aerialscope was transferred to the Seagrave operation in Clintonville, WI. Today (as of 2024), the company name lives on as Baker Hydraulics in Richmond, Virginia.
