BFX Fire Apparatus is an American fire apparatus manufacturer located in Weatherford, Texas. Formed in the early 1980s, the company specializes in composite body fire apparatus. BFX builds Type 5/6/7 engines under contract for several Federal and State wildland fire agencies.

BFX Fire Apparatus is a division of BrandFX Body Co. LLC. BrandFX purchased Fibre Body Company of Swea City, IA sometime in 1996, with rights to intellectual property following in 2002. BrandFX is owned by Lee Finley, the same owner of the now defunct S&S Fire Apparatus.
BrandFX is the world’s largest producer of advanced composite service bodies, line bodies, inserts, toppers and covers. BrandFX was acquired by Time Manufacturing/Versalift in November, 2019.
