The Aurora Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to approximately 17,300 residents spread across 25 square miles. They currently respond out of two fire stations. The department responds to nearly 2,800 calls for service annually. Currently, the fire department is staffed with a minimum of six Firefighter/Paramedics at all times.
