Alton FD has an agreement with Moore Field Airport (formerly Moore Air Force Base) to provide a fire truck and 2 firefighters on site Monday-Sunday from 8 am – 5 pm. The air field is open 24 hours a day. Moore Field is a private airport owned by the Department of Agriculture.
