The Allen Volunteer Fire Department is a combination department that operates from a single fire station and responds to approximately 1,000 calls a year.
Department History[]
The Allen Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1959, and covers an unincorporated area southeast of the City of Concord (NC) in Cabarrus County. In 1960, the department built their original fire station on NC Hwy 601 at Flowes Store Road.
In 2024, the department acquired property on Miami Church Rd to build a second station. Construction on that station started in 2025.
