Area Served[]

Al Udeid Air Base is one of two military bases southwest of Doha, Qatar, also known as Abu Nakhlah Airport. It is the main headquarters of the Qatar Emiri Air Force, and also houses United States Air Force, Royal Air Force, and other allied air forces. Al Udeid Air Base is home to the headquarters of US Central Command (USCC), US Air Force Central Command (USAFCC), the USAF's 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, and RAF No. 83 Expeditionary Air Group. Both Qatar and the United States have invested heavily in the construction and expansion of facilities at Al Udeid since the mid-1990s, and the base forms the main hub of the CENTCOM air and ground logistical network for its area of responsibility

Aircraft rescue and firefighting (ARFF), structure firefighting and emergency medical services for Al Udeid Air Base are provided by the 379th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron/AUAB Fire Department, a subordinate unit of the 379th Expeditionary Mission Support Group, consisting of military firefighters.
