The Addison Fire Protection District is staffed by a combination of sworn district employees and contract firefighter/paramedics provided by Paramedic Services of Illinois. PSI provides 4 personnel per shift.
The Addison Fire District maintains an ISO Class 2 rating.
History[]
Initially formed as the Addison Volunteer Fire Department on March 17th, 1925, the volunteer fire department became a fire protection district on February 27th, 1946.
