Overview[]
The Adams-Jeffco Hazardous Response Authority was formed by an Intergovernmental Agreement between Adams and Jefferson Counties in October 1997. The team consists of specially trained individuals that are part of fire departments/districts, law enforcement agencies and other specialized personnel within member agencies of the Authority.

The Adams and Jefferson County Hazardous Response Authority disbanded in 2025.
